Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education
Teacher position within an elementary school setting in
Huntersville, NC. The role involves working Monday through Friday,
from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The contract
is for the current school year, ending May 27, 2026. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide specialized instruction to students
with exceptionalities in elementary or high school settings. -
Conduct comprehensive assessments and testing to determine student
needs. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams. - Deliver
instruction aligned with the EC General Curriculum, with a focus on
cross-categorical special education services. - Manage a caseload
of students requiring individualized support and accommodations.
Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Special Education
Teacher certification, preferably with experience in both
elementary and high school environments. - Proficiency in executing
assessments and developing effective IEPs. - Strong knowledge of
cross-categorical and general special education curriculum. -
Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and
multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent organizational and
communication skills to manage caseload and documentation.
