MAPEI is looking for a Sales Representative professional with a proven track record in sales in the market, to sell MAPEI OEM and Sports products.--In this role you will work collaboratively with the OEM and Sports customers to promote the features and benefits of MAPEI products.Responsibilites* Achieve targeted sales budget as established by the Company.* Create/conduct training sessions; assist in specific product training on jobsites; create and conduct training seminars of product education to promote sales* Sell MAPEI Products with an emphasis on hands-on demonstrations using samples and displaying salable product features.* Create and conduct effective proposal presentations to prospective and existing customers. * Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing decision-makers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.* Assist the PLM/R&D with field trials; competitive analysis and special projects* Learn and present continuing education programs for the OEM and Sports customers* Assist OEM and Sports customers with stocking quantities and suggested inventory levels based on their product portfolios.* Make recommendations to prospects and existing customers of the various solutions MAPEI offers to their business issues.* Develop lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.* Provide market feedback regarding customer and competitors; provide recommendations for new products based on market needs and attend trade-shows.* Visit jobsites and communicate potential product claims.--Submit jobsite reports, pictures to include the topics discussed, recommendations and follow-up needed.* Attend trade shows as requested.* Perform other duties as required. Qualifications* Bachelor of Science (BS) in architecture, engineering or business-related fields preferred and/or a minimum of three years' experience in civil engineering or construction management. Strong knowledge of related market, with a proven sales record is a plus.* At a minimum, require High School Diploma or GED* Strong knowledge of the assigned market,/industry and a proven sales record.* Valid state driver's license.* Ability to--travel (20-40%) and work independently throughout the assigned territory* Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.* You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.* The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.--Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as using the Internet.Benefits DetailsMAPEI offers medical coverage options for you and your family.--We currently offer highly competitive medical plan options with minimal monthly employee contributions and very, very low deductibles!
