Native Forest Nursery, LLC is hiring 1 (Nursery Production Tech) Permanent & FT. Provided daily transport to/from the worksite; position located at: 11306 HWY 411 South, Chatsworth GA 30705. Continue into: Murray, Bartow County & areas of Dalton, Atlanta Sandy Springs Roswell area. JOB DUITES/ REQUIREMENTS/CONDITIONS: Record info about crops, such as pesticide use, yields or costs. Monitor work of seasonal help during planning. Inspect treatment of plants/crops. Repair/maintain farm vehicles/mechanical equipment. Identify plants, pests & weeds. Record info on plant growth. Maintain inventory. Inspect plants. Haul/spread topsoil, fertilizer. Operate tractors & machinery. Monitor activities of work crews engaged in planting, weeding or harvesting activities. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers & other activities as per ONET/SOC CODE 45-2092. Must have 24 mo of nursery worker (45-2092) experience. No Ed Req. Must be able to stand for long hrs, work in both hot/cold temps, able to lift up to 40 lbs. SALARY /HOURS: $32,011/year to possibly $34,778/year. Possible dly/wkly hrs: 7:30AM-4:00PM. 40+ (plus) to include lunch break, M-F. Possible wkd/holiday work. (OT possible, but not required/guaranteed. If OT is worked, wage is paid at a rate of time & a half per hr worked beyond 40 hrs each week.) Variable weather conditions may apply.
