Military Veterans are Encouraged to Apply. -Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineering Analyst. This position is a local electrical project coordinator. To coordinate and follow up all development aspects of the localized product with the local partners (Production/Purchasing/Quality/Suppliers) and the development counterparts in Germany and Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Main responsibility - Localized Product Coordination - (50%)

Work with internal partners to ensure technical requirements are available and understood during engineering changes or requests Technical assistance to internal partners and supplier partners. Ensure project timelines for the wire harness topics are tracked and reported accordingly.

Coordination with Project Lead - (40%)

• Represent local development project interest in tandem with project lead in Germany or Mexico
  
• Ensure constant communication of project status
  
• Align locally requested changes with project leads in Germany or Mexico
  
• Align platform changes initiated abroad are implemented in the localized project
  
  
  Supportive engineering activities - (10%)
  
  
  
• Coordinating and participating in workshops with engineering partners during prototype phases
  
• Support cross functional teams for electrical topics
  
• Support on defining, maintaining, procedures and instructions of the engineering processes
  
  
  Skills: General skills needed to perform the job
  
  
  
• Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  
• Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written
  
• Computer savvy - skilled in the use of software

• German or Spanish skills written and verbal are advantageous
  
  
  Experience:
  
  
  
• 2 years of experience with automotive electrical wiring systems
  
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance
  
  
  Education:
  
  
  
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  
  
  Specialized Skills: Knowledge or certifications unique to this role
  
  Required Desired
  
  
  
• Experience with technical standards of wire harness in automotive applications
  
• Experience with wire harness problem solving and root cause analysis
  
• Knowledge of automotive electrical networks, such as conform networks, communication networks
  
• Automotive wire harness development experience
  
• Knowledge of automotive wire harness suppliers, particularly in the NAR
  
• Experience in industrialization and confection of wire harnesses for automotive applications
