Job Description:
2nd SHIFT-GREAT OPPORTUNITY, BENEFITS, VACATION, RELOCATION
ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE Job description: JOB SUMMARY 1. Adhere to
Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies. 2. Production schedule
presence. Lead quality decisions during the shift. 3. Assist in the
development of 8D or other problem solving tool, standardized work
processes, process improvements, work instructions, training on
processes, and supervises daily quality operations. 4. Monitor and
report daily quality activities regarding press and assembly
process (End of Shift Notes). 5. Responsible for issuing quality
alerts and follow up until expired to archive. 6. Monitor
Correction Card process and follow up on Open/Closed Correction
Cards. 7. Attend daily operation meetings to communicate quality
results and provide feedback on overall team performance. 8.
Supervise and audit the surface audits are completed according to
Control Plan, attribute checks and thinning analysis done according
to CP, destructive tests according to CP and GP12 sorts. 9.
Responsible of Quality Hold Room. 10. Provide overall employee/team
development strategies through training, coaching, counseling, and
performance measurement. 11. Responsible of coordinating
containments/sorts with Metal Finish/GP12/Third Party (send clean
point, QLOCK suspect material/RELEASE good parts, report of
containment with status and fallout). 12. Support Quality Engineer
on developing Teiletisch activities. 13. Participation in the
Layered Process Audit schedule. 14. Participation in the Internal
ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Audit schedule (applies only to certified ISO
9001/IATF 16949 internal auditors). 15. Participation and
cooperation in answering questions and providing information for
internal and external audits regarding or related to ISO 9001/IATF
16949, VDA 6.3, and customer standards. Perform various other jobs
as deemed necessary and appropriate EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1.
Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience in an automotive
manufacturing environment preferred. 2 + years' experience with
supervision and surface auditing
