• This is a small fabrication shop that creates Heat Exchanger equipment for the power generation, petro-chem, HVAC and pulp & paper industry.
• Once the equipment is ready, they travel to the customer site (exp. - TVA power plant, Jack Daniels Plant, nuclear plants, refineries, gas plants) and install the equipment, get it up and running, and train the plant staff on how to operate it. They will also go back to the site on occasion for refurbishments and repairs.Travel: Per-diem minimum $50+/day2023 Travel Schedule - February - May (non-stop travelling) - both of the initial jobs will be nuclear specific then the last job in May will be at a refinery. They will have the opportunity to return in the summer time for time to enjoy with family. Travel Duration - Many trips could be as short as a couple days (refurbishing and repairing trips). On average most trips are 1-2 weeks and could be as long as 2-3 months.Lots of trips will be during outages for the end customer and will require significant OT (60-80 hours weekly) and will most likely be on an off-shift.Duties:- Operating various tools and related specialty equipment in the plants and in the shop. - Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing tools and related equipment.- Interacting with clients and their labor force on projects. - candidate needs to be a mechanically inclined laborer. Qualifications: - Pneumatic/hydraulic tools exp. preferred- Must be okay with travel- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment processingSkills:mechanical, Hand tool, Construction, welding, MIG, TIG, StickAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and ability to work in tight, confined conditions due to the equipment and process they have.
