Recruiter for Aerotek in Chattanooga. We are looking for driven
Maintenance Techs who wants to grow with a desirable company in
northwest Georgia. Listed below are some required skills that the
employer desires along with some preferred
skills:Description:Maintenance Techs will complete mechanical and
electrical maintenance on mostly press and stamping machines.
Preventative and reactive maintenance. Experience with hydraulic
and pneumatics systems is key. Must have strong electrical skills
and experience. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machines
and equipment. Repairing and replacing machine components as
needed. Using touch screen for technical adjustments. Quality
assurance. Mechanical adjustments and making sure machine
components are properly aligned. Using PLCs for troubleshooting
purposes, finding faults, making repairs, then adjusting
programming to get machine back up and running as quickly as
possible.Required
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
- Machine set-ups, operation, troubleshooting, and technical and
mechanical adjustments
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills and experienceIn-depth
knowledge of mechanical aspects:
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting
- Three phase motor installation, troubleshooting and
replacement
- Industrial press troubleshooting
- Replacement of motors, bearings, gear boxes, pumps, and other
machine components
- Blueprint reading
- Preventative maintenanceIn-depth knowledge of electrical
applications:
- Electrical wiring of conveyor gear boxes and other
equipment
- Motor AC/DC switch abilities
- Electrical wiring of electrical applications (conveyors,
conduit, motor wiring, PLC wiring)
- Schematic readingPLCs/Fabrication:
- PLC experience (editing programs, troubleshooting)
- Welding/fabricationOther Beneficial SkillsIndustrial
maintenance, mechatronics, industrial electricity, multi-craft
maintenance, PLCs, Allen Bradley, Siemens, robotics, robotic
welders, Fanuc, ABB, automation, programming, MIG, TIG, stick,
fluxcore, press operation, brake press press brake, stamping, HMI,
touch screen, troubleshooting, precision measuring, calipers,
micrometers, gauges, electrical, mechanical, etc.Shift:
2ndSchedule: Monday-Friday, and most Saturdays, but Saturdays are
