Pay $17 $1 Shift Differential Shifts Available: 2nd Updates are
received and shipment paperwork are filed by the Shipping/Receiving
Associate. Accounting receives the receiving paperwork. The
following are not all of the responsibilities of a Shipping and
Receiving Associate. Other job-related tasks and responsibilities
will be assigned to the employee as desired by the Materials
Supervisor, Materials Manager, Plant Manager, or General Manager.
Duties: Examines the requirements for planned shipping. To meet the
needs of customers, communicates and documents instructions.
Organizes and files shipping documentation on a daily basis. A
forklift operator's license is required. Shipments are staged,
internal labels are scanned, and shipping labels are generated.
Create a shipping label. Confirm transportation by loading
containers onto a truck. When necessary, send a fax to the
customer. Troubleshoots issues with the shipping and logistics
functions. Qualifications An individual must be able to
satisfactorily complete each key duty in order to do this job
successfully. The knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements
mentioned below are representative of what is expected. Individuals

reasonable accommodations. Steel Receiving Associates must have a
fundamental understanding of raw material grades. Requirements for
education: It is preferred that you have a high school diploma or a
GED. Experience and/or training in a related field for one to three
months; or an equivalent mix of education and experience. You
should be proficient in: Forklift Licensed Meets Physical
Requirements High School / GED Excellent Communication Skills Shop
Math Skills Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
