Job Title

Material Handler I- D shift

Position Overview

Position Objective: To support the Heatset department by ensuring items necessary for department functioning is available for use at all times.

What you'll be doing: (Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility)

Report unsafe equipment, machinery or conditions to supervision immediately.

Report suspect yarn to supervisor immediately.

Pull tails from twisted yarn while it is in the Kanban area for quality assurance purposes.

Identify differing plastic tube colors to ensure that yarn is taken to the correct area for processing.

Gather thread waste in Superba room and take re-workable waste product buggies to the correct area for bailing or rework.

Empty sweeps buckets. Push sweeps to the correct location for bailing.

Operate tube grinder.

Push cardboard tube buggies to appropriate locations. Manage the damaged tubes as needed.

Manage packing materials in the Heatset department to maintain a safe work environment for Heatset Operators.

Fill out appropriate waste tickets and turn into supervisor for recording.

Pick-up trash and recyclables according to schedule.

Keep work area neat, orderly and safe.

Objetivo de Posici--n: Transportar hilo torcido al --rea de estacionamiento de Heatset.

Obligaciones de trabajo:(Considerando el conocimiento del trabajo, ambiente del trabajo, esfuerzo, habilidad de calcular, resoluci--n, conocimiento y responsabilidad de seguridad):

Reportar equipo inseguro, maquinaria o condiciones al supervisor inmediatamente.

Reportar hilo sospechoso al supervisor inmediatamente.

Empujar carritos llenos de hilo torcido al --rea de estacionamiento apropiado.

Mover hilo correcto a la base de Twister correcta a tiempo y juntar la informaci--n. (Debe poder leer y entender los horarios y juntar la informaci--n.)

Cuando lleve el hilo al --rea de estacionamiento ___. Verifique que los pedidos se mantengan juntos tanto como sea posible.

Mantenga el --rea de trabajo limpia, ordenad y segura.

Mantenga contenedores de tubos en cada habitaci--n.
