And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments. CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Benefits: * $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers through February 28, 2021! ($2,500 at 90 and 180 days)
* Competitive pay:
* Starting pay .44 cpm
* Average of 2,400 miles per week
* Average $1,161 per week / $60,372 per year
* Stop pay
* $15 per stop; average 8 stops per week * Detention, breakdown and layover pay available
* Company sponsored per diem program * Home weekly- no set day but it's our goal to have drivers in by Saturday
* Home 2 consecutive days prior to next dispatch
* Pick up preloaded 53' trailer of tile product
* Deliveries will be in various regions including east coast (occasional deliveries to Long Island)
* Delivery customer will be responsible for unloading
* On rare occasion driver may be required to assist. If so, driver will be informed prior to dispatch and provided a pallet jack
* Pulling dry van and some flatbed and Conestoga trailers
* Either vendor direct backhauls for customer or a broker load will be assigned to return for next outbound dispatch
