Job Description Blender Operator - Chattanooga, TNThis is a full-time, hourly position with Growth Potential!Must be able to:Have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMulti taskGive & take direction wellWork under pressure / meet deadlinesHave good mechanical aptitudePosition Summary:Process Control Operators are responsible for binning flour made off of the Mills and railcar/trailer unloads and transferring flour to the load out bins of Bulk, Large Pack or Small pack depending on the need and customer specifications . Must be able to load and unload trailers / railcars as needed. The process operates continuously and is staffed seven days per week, twenty-four hours per day.Job Responsibilities:Perform operational duties in an industrial, flour loading facilityMonitor various loading parameters and physically take readings from machinery during you shiftAssess current operating conditions and make process adjustments as needed to keep critical product specificationsPerform necessary gmp's and cleaning duties, may also include cleaning machinery, fixing machinery, and other duties as assignedMust continually gain knowledge in the operational process in order to produce a quality finished product and be able to trouble shoot potential process problemsMust work in a safe and workman like fashionMust have ability and willingness to identify and report safety concernsPhysical and Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is preferredBasic understanding of computers and math comprehensionMust have the ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, and work in hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environmentExhibit good work habits, including excellent attendance and individual productivityThis position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental insurance.
