System/Network Engineer

Job Description:

Support the PAR Government IT group and C-sUAS business unit with network engineering requirements. This includes designing, implementing and sustaining network topologies, programming routers (cellular based routers and subnet domains), and working with GovCloud group to set up VPN access from end point to virtual users. The selected candidate will perform hardware and software assessments, design and develop route topologies, and sustain network implementation. This individual must also be able to diagnose existing network implementations and determine failure points and able to repair failure. - Required Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of TCP/IP network topologies
• Familiarity with network hardware - routers, Switches, celluar - primarily Cisco gear
• Familiarity with Virtual Private Networks
• Familiarity with network management and mentoring software
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows servers
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2-5-year's experience, or master's degree or equivalent and two-year's experience, in related field.
