Job Description:
Detailed Job Description: Responsible for the design, repair,
and maintenance of weld cells for a safe, clean, productive, and
cost-efficient operation that completely backs Assembly
production.Shift: 1st ShiftDuties:
- Fix and maintain production of assembly weld cells.
- Advantage to MIG or TIG weld would be beneficial.
- Revise damaged components quickly
- Experience employing Solidworks or Invertor to create new parts
to repair and maintain weld equipment
- Strong capacity to comprehend car coordinates and assembly
quality check fixtures to make dimensional changes to weld
fixtures.
- Capacity to read and understand CMM measurement reports would
be an advantage.
- Strong ability to diagnose issues to determine solutions.
- Observe standard work and training for all work
activities.
- Abide by all Safety and Quality policies and procedures
- Talent to lift/push/pull/ up to 50lbs occasionally;
walk/stand/crouch/bend constantly during assigned shift
- Must have the capacity to communicate successfully with all
levels and departments on the production floor.Skills /
Qualifications:To accomplish this job successfully, an individual
must be able to execute each essential duty acceptably.Education
Requirements: High School diploma or GED required.Finishing of a
four-year Tool and Die Apprenticeship program is
indispensable.Minimum of three years of Tool and Die and/or
Assembly experience in a quick-paced automotive manufacturing
environment.
