The team's dedication and commitment is a major factor in the company's success and growth.The Repair and Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of dies for a safe, clean, productive and economical operation that supports press production.Duties include:

• Mending and sustaining production and stamping dies
• Experience with large progressive, transfer and deep draw dies
• Tig Welding ability
• Timely reworking of damaged components
• Preserving a clean and safe workplace
• Coordinating with manufacturing the dies to be repaired
• Troubleshooting problems to find solutions
• Adhering to standard work and training for all work processes
• Sticking to all safety and quality policies and procedures
• Lifting/pushing/pulling/ up to 50lbs occasionally
• Walking/standing/crouching/bending constantly throughout assigned shift
• Having the capacity to communicate effectively with all levels and departments in the Production floorSkills and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED, mandatory
  • Completion of a four-year Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program, required
  • Minimum three (3) years of Tool and Die experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and ability to work with high strength steel
  • Automotive Stamping experience, a plusYou should be proficient in:
    • Manual Machining Skills
    • Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
    • Machine Safety Inspections
    • Meets Physical Requirements
    • High School / GED
    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
    • Basic Computer SkillsMachines & technologies you'll use:
      • CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
      • CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
      • CNC Grinder
      • Calipers and Micrometers
      • MIG Welder
      • TIG Welder
      • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)
