We are searching for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our corporate IT team on-site in our Chattanooga office. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the company's internal IT infrastructure, maximizing system usability, and minimizing system downtime to contribute to the company's Infrastructure and Security service delivery goals and objectives.
Installation and configuration of SAN and server technologies (Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, etc.).
Installation, maintenance, and configuration of virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V).
Installation, maintenance, and configuration of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 7/10).
Installation, maintenance and configuration of messaging and collaboration tech (Microsoft Exchange, O365, SharePoint, Teams, etc).
Installation of endpoint applications and security controls (Antivirus, DNS filtering, VPN clients, etc.).
Maintenance and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2019).
Systems Administration of tools used within Managed Services including:

Monitoring, Patching, Remote Access, and Endpoint Management.
Documentation.
Password Vault.
Application deployment using scripts, deployment tools, etc.
Report creation and reporting for internal and clients.
Drafting and solidifying documentation including network, assessment and device configurations, and support procedures.



Collaboration with other engineers on design, documentation, and implementation for solutions.
End user support.
Other duties as required.


Qualifications


3+ years supporting VMware virtualization environment (ESX, vCenter).
3+ years supporting SANS and Servers.
3+ years supporting Microsoft Exchange and Office 365.
3+ years supporting Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
3+ years supporting Microsoft Windows workstation operating systems.
Previous experience with perimeter security firewalls and/or storage area networks is a plus!
Previous experience with Citrix VDI is a plus!
Excellent analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, train, evaluate and direct work of assigned staff.
Comfortability with structure and routine.
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong relationship building skills and leadership capabilities.
Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling Conversant's culture and values.
Bachelors or Associate degree in Information Technology, Business, Operations, or relevant field experience strongly preferred.
