Overview: Care Hospice is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist in the Chattanooga, TN area. Deals with a diverse group of external and internal customers callers, and visitors. Organization, approachability, and proper presentation are of the up-most importance. A successful Front Deak Receptionist will be able to perform their essential duties and responsibilities.Care Hospice is a premier provider of end-of-life care. Handle all incoming calls and process call either by email, Teams message, or transfer. Provide clerical support to staff as needed while maintaining confidentiality. Schedule usage of conference rooms. Receive mail deliveries and distribute promptly to associates mailboxes. Maintain mailboxes: Provide Home Office associates with a mailbox. Meter mail and take to Post Office Daily Maintain Postage Meter and supplies Process Death Letters to Referring Physicians Monitor weather for staff and send out weather alerts by email to team members in the field. Open and process and distribute all faxes each morning, then maintain on 15-20-minute intervals throughout each day. Represents the company appropriately to customers, patients, families, and visitors. Contributes to the smooth and effective operation of the office. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of two (2) years experience with clerical and administrative duties in a healthcare office required. Hospice preferredExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.Ability to take initiative, set priorities, multitask and organize work. Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
