Job Description:

An automotive company in Chattanooga, TN is looking for a Launch Engineer to help with new vehicle launches. The role would start as a 9-monthcontract with an opportunity to go on permanent with the company.Responsibilities:--- Plan, perform and organize Physical Parts Try Out, within the Bodyshop areas --- Plan, perform and organize Physical Parts Try Out for the Plant addition, within Battery Plant (Body Battery Plant)--- Connect the Try Out activity between the Vehicle Producing Plant and the Battery producing Plant on side--- Needs to Support and coordinate the entire try out schedule, with the Cross Functional Teams (Quality/Pilot Hall/Paint Shop/ Bodyshop/Assembly) after official submission within the system --- Analyzing of Material/Product/Supplier changes --- Try Out performed, evaluation and displaying of improvement measures due to findings --- Technical analysis of engineering changes in preparation of try outs for new projects and model changes.--- Perform initial evaluation of product fitment with respect to dimensional accuracy, fit and function in all manufacturing areas Requirements:--- Engineering Degree--- 2 years of job related experience with Bachelor Degree or 3 years with Associates Degree--- Knowledge of Microsoft Office--- Strong communication skills--- Strong reporting, data mining/mapping skillsPay: $38-45 an hourAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
