Job Description:

Koch Foods, a leader in the U.S. poultry processing industry, is seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent for our operations department. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations at our state-of-the-art processing facility ensuring efficiency, quality control, and safety. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing diverse teams, optimizing operational workflows, and supporting our commitment to delivering top-tier poultry products. Manage and oversee all daily operations of the plant, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety standards. Monitor production outputs and product quality, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. Coordinate maintenance and repairs of equipment to minimize downtime. Prepare, control, and monitor the plant operation budget in collaboration with senior management. Supervise, recruit, and train plant personnel, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Implement and oversee effective inventory management strategies. Foster a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits. Strong leadership and people management skills Proven ability in production and operations management within the food processing industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO) Proficiency in data analysis and performance/operation metrics Ability to strategize and solve problems efficiently Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred HACCP Certification
