Cytotech / Cytogenetics Location: Atlanta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,474 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cytotechnologist Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Cytotechnology Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ASCP, ASCP-CT Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cytotechnology. First time travelers will be accepted. Candidate will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit. Description: Schedule: Monday through Friday. No weekend shifts required. No call obligations exist. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be needed as required. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. References from two supervisory contacts are highly preferred. Candidates must provide required time off requests upon submission. No holiday time off requests can be accommodated for one or two major holidays. If three major holidays occur during the assignment, one holiday time off request may be reviewed for approval. Candidates must submit core items and complete necessary labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. Successful completion of one assignment outside of previous facilities is required for rebooking. Modules will be completed during the orientation period and vary by specialty.
