Description : Summary The Carrier Sales Representative for DTS
Brokerage will be responsible for sourcing transportation providers
and providing tracking updates as needed to support customer
requests. Develop a carrier coverage strategy and have full
autonomy for supporting a customer's truckload & LTL coverage
needs. Directly engage with Account Executives, Shipment Management
Associates (SMA) and Business Development Managers as needed to
build a network of service providers that allows them the ability
to foster an effective carrier network to support any and all
freight transportation needs that a customer desires. Essential
Functions Tenders accept/reject loads, creates loads, sets
appointments, dispatches, tracks and traces loads, root cause
problem solves issues, and resolves/communicates to carrier and/or
customer as appropriate. Identifies and Develops relationships with
transportation providers to ensure adequate coverage to maximize
penetration of customer freight portfolio through soliciting
capacity. Negotiate rates with transportation providers to ensure
that margins are achieved for commission targets and account goals.

planning and scheduling of coverage for loads to ensure proper all
customer's needs are met in the agreed upon time period. Additional
Responsibilities Continuous improvement in all segments of the
business. Schedules and dispatches while ensuring compliance of
Federal, State, and Local regulations. Responsible for timely
updating of load statuses to the TMS. Maintain a positive employee
related climate and maintain a customer satisfaction index at a
World Class Level while having availability 24/7/365 for
responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and

Degree in in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business
Administration or related field, preferred. 3 years or more in
business experience, required. Working knowledge of Transportation
Industry, carrier modes & services and basic Supply Chain design
and functionality. Advanced, required. Knowledge and support of RIL
policies and procedures. Advanced, required. Demonstrated PC skills
in MS Access, Excel, Word. Clear understanding of SMS legacy
system. Intermediate, required. Understanding of assigned customer,
customer product and distribution requirements. Intermediate,

Compensation Information : The compensation offered to a candidate
may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the
candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant
degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges;
internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also
be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or
long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
Compensation ranges for the position are below: Pay Type : Salaried
Minimum Pay Range: 50000 Maximum Pay Range: 55000 Benefits
