SkillBridge Systems Analyst Internship Capstone Research
Corporation is seeking to expand our team. Capstone Research
Corporation is headquartered in Huntsville Alabama. We are a
customer-oriented engineering services company providing world
class research and development support across the Department of
Defense (DoD): Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Missile Defense
Agency (MDA). We provide high level engineering to the Department
of War with Integrated Air and Missile Defense Systems Engineering
expertise to solve the tough interoperability problems facing
Warfighters today. We pride ourselves on providing high level
engineering in a customer-oriented, ethical approach. We have an
immediate opening for a SKillBridge Systems Analyst Internship in
Colorado Springs, Co . This position is only open to active-duty
service members. Civilian applicants are not eligible. In a 6-12
week program, the internship will prepare the participant to
successfully transition into a civilian Systems Analyst role for a
Government Contractor who supports MDA, the Department of War
(DoW), Military Services, and other government agencies. Systems
Analyst Key Responsibilities: Provide data driven guidance on
decisions concerning engineering initiatives Recommend and propose
improvements in engineering project/operation based on findings
from analysis Generate and develop reports, create visualizations,
and utilize forecasting models to convey findings to relevant
stakeholders Analyze technical components and collaborate with
engineers and program managers to establish project milestones and
requirements for project success SkillBridge Internship Learning
and Mentorship Focus: Introduction to the Systems Analyst role
Introduction to Government Contracting and support Introduction to
industry-standard tools and requirements for documentation,
tracking, and modeling Observe and analyze real project team
dynamics, communication and customer relationship practices Apply
learned skills to internal projects Prepare transition plan to
include portfolio of products and accomplishments from the program
Requirements: Transitioning Services member with a desire to
support the Military and Government agencies as a Systems Analyst
for a Government Contractor Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience
in weapons systems operations and/or analysis Experience with DoW
programs and systems Problem-solving skills and effective verbal
and written communication skills US Citizen holding Secret
Clearance
