Job Description Job Description ON SITE ROLE M-F! On site at the
hospital and other buildings in the downtown area Hours somewhat
flexible. 9-4:30 first week during training, then can come in
earlier 7:30/8-3:30/4. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented
Low Voltage Technician to support the installation, testing, and
maintenance of structured cabling systems. The ideal candidate will
have hands-on experience with cable testing, network connectivity,
and basic troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Operate and
interpret results from cable testers to verify connectivity and
performance. Perform daisy chaining of devices and connections
where required. Connect equipment from PC ? wall outlet ? patch
panel ? switch , ensuring proper network flow. Terminate and test
RJ45 connectors for Ethernet cabling. Assist with organizing and
labeling cabling infrastructure. Support troubleshooting of basic
connectivity issues. Experience with Cat 5 and 6 cables Maintain a
clean and safe work environment while handling tools and cables.
Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with RJ45 connectors and
Ethernet cabling standards. Ability to use cable testers and
interpret results. Understanding of patch panels, switches, and
wall outlets in structured cabling. Basic knowledge of network
topology and connectivity. Strong attention to detail and ability
to follow instructions. Good communication and teamwork skills.
