Job Description Job Description Located in Cookeville, TN Salary: $25.00 IT Support Cookeville, TN Pay: $18.00-$20.00, DOE Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours as needed Express Employment Professionals - Cookeville is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to design, maintain, and secure our clients' technology systems. This role will focus on infrastructure reliability, network performance, security compliance, and the adoption of AI-powered tools to improve efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3 years in IT infrastructure or system administration preferred Certifications such as CompTIA Network/Security, Dell/HP server management preferred. Proficient in Windows Server, Linux, macOS, and virtualization (Hyper-V, KVM) Skilled in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and hardware troubleshooting Strong understanding of security principles, firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and automation tools Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Detail-oriented and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
