A Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience is needed to provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a dynamic clinical setting located in Roswell, GA. This contract role offers a chance to contribute as an integral part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, delivering individualized, safe, and relationship-based patient care consistent with evidence-based practices and professional nursing standards. Key Responsibilities include: Performing comprehensive nursing processes: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members while maintaining cultural sensitivity and patient-centered communication. Coordinating and documenting quality patient care that aligns with professional care delivery models and safety protocols. Participating in performance improvement projects, research activities, and shared governance to enhance clinical practice. Supporting staff development by serving as a preceptor or mentor, promoting professional growth within the nursing team. Ensuring adherence to organizational policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements including patient safety goals. Qualifications and Experience: Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact). Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) mandatory upon hire. Experience with direct patient care preferred; new graduates with requisite clinical hours considered. Strong critical thinking, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills essential. Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and respond calmly during emergencies. Shift and Schedule: Day Shift: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, three days per week. Primarily Monday through Friday with possible weekend call shifts requiring 30-minute callback availability on a rotating basis.
