Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work on high acuity medical-surgical floor specializing in surgery trauma • Must be willing to work assigned shifts with no block scheduling available • Patient ratio of 5:1 with nursing support from techs • Care for patient population including spinal neuro trauma surgical patients, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred • Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required • EPIC electronic health record system experience required • No RTO (Responsible Time Off) policy • Phlebotomy services available on unit • Unit secretary support available during night shifts • Participate in nurse handoff process with ED nurses and admitting unit Facility: This major healthcare facility operates as a Level I trauma center providing comprehensive medical services to the community.
