Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and
detail-oriented Medical Lab Technologist (MLS/MLT) to join our
innovative healthcare team in Williamson, WV. This role is pivotal
in providing high-quality diagnostic information that supports
medical staff in patient treatment. Successful candidates will
handle laboratory tests and procedures with precision and adhere to
all regulatory guidelines. Conduct chemical, biological,
hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests.
Analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative and
qualitative analysis. Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures
and safety guidelines. Record and sometimes interpret results to
present to senior colleagues. Utilize clinical information systems
to enter, retrieve, and analyze data. Proficiency in operating
laboratory equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Accurate and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and as
part of a team. Effective communication skills. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification as a Medical
Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
by ASCP or equivalent is required.
