requested due to volume increase and leave coverage PATIENT
INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census:
Inpatient volume based on hospital census and approximately 1525
clinic patients per day Admissions: Yes Rounding: Included Phone
Consults: As clinically appropriate Case Mix: Liver and pancreas
surgical patients FACILITY INFORMATION Office Equipment Available:
Standard inpatient and clinic equipment Specialty Backup Available:
Liver and pancreas surgical team Support Staff Available:
Physicians, APPs, and nursing staff Reason for Coverage: Volume

and Malpractice Insurance: Covered JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses:
Active Georgia nurse practitioner license Board: National
certification as Nurse Practitioner DEA: As required for inpatient
and outpatient practice Certifications: As required by Northside
Hospital credentialing standards Experience: Surgical service or
inpatient APP experience preferred Other Qualifications: Ability to
work in both inpatient and outpatient settings DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient care and rounding for liver and
pancreas surgical patients Support outpatient clinic visits and
follow-up care Coordinate care with surgical physicians and
multidisciplinary teams Document patient encounters accurately and
timely in the EMR Assist with continuity of care during periods of
