(Level 1 Trauma) Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Day Shift
Schedule: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
On-Call: Required (Including Holidays & Weekends) Compensation:
Gross Weekly: $1,660/week W2 Rate: $17/hour Weekly Stipend:
$980/week Job Summary: A leading Level 1 hospital in Atlanta, GA is
seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week
contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong trauma OR
experience and the ability to function effectively in a
high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain sterile field in accordance with hospital and
AORN standards. Set up operating room with appropriate surgical
instruments and equipment. Assist surgeons during trauma and
complex surgical procedures. Pass instruments, maintain counts
(sponges, needles, instruments), and anticipate surgeon needs.
Ensure proper handling of surgical specimens. Maintain infection
control and patient safety standards. Assist with room turnover and
preparation for subsequent cases. Participate in on-call rotation,
including weekends and holidays. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2
years of Surgical Technologist experience. Strong Level 1 Trauma OR
experience – Mandatory. Trauma experience must be clearly
documented in work history. Strong skills checklist rating
required. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure trauma
