This role will focus on providing nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns right after birth, ensuring both safety and comfort during their stay. As a Mother Baby Nurse, you will play a crucial role in an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional health services in maternity care, aligned with our commitment to excellence in patient outcomes. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs including both mother and child post-delivery. Educate and support mothers and families on baby care, lactation, and physical recovery. Monitor vital signs for both mother and child, recognizing any potential complications and coordinating with the healthcare team as necessary. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and report any discrepancies to the physician. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills In-depth knowledge of maternal-child health. Proficient in various healthcare databases and patient management software. Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations professionally.
