Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider
in Nashville, Tennessee, is currently seeking a dedicated and
skilled Progressive Care Nurse to join our Float Pool team. This
position entails providing high-quality nursing care in a dynamic
environment across various progressive care units. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate a high level of flexibility and
commitment to adapting to differing healthcare settings within our
facility, while also maintaining consistent standards of care
tailored to meet the varying needs of our patients. Provide direct
and individualized nursing care to patients based on the
application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and
communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized
documentation systems. Adapt to various units within the facility,
following specific protocols and procedures of each unit.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and is
responsible for observing reactions. Provide guidance and education
to patients and their families on treatment plans and preventive
care. Participate in the development and modification of care plans
in conjunction with other health care professionals. Robust
assessment and critical thinking skills Effective communication and
interpersonal skills Strong adaptability to varying healthcare
environments Capability to work independently or as part of a team
Proficiency in using health information technology Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee or a
compact state Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred
