Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading provider of
comprehensive healthcare services in Nashville, Tennessee, is
looking for a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse PRN to
join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for
providing critical care to patients in the cardiac catheterization
lab, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare
professionals to deliver high-quality care. You will have the
opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with
cutting-edge technology, assisting in procedures such as
angioplasties, implants, and diagnostic imaging. Administer care to
patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab. Monitor
patient vital signs during procedures and provide updates to the
attending physician. Prepare and maintain sterile environments for
cardiac catheterization and other procedures. Educate patients and
their families on procedure details, pre-procedure preparation, and
post-procedure care. Collaborate with cardiologists and other
medical professionals to ensure effective patient treatment plans.
Document all patient interactions and treatments in the medical
record system. Proficiency in cardiac care and sterile environment
procedures Ability to operate complex medical machinery used in
cardiac catheterization Strong interpersonal and communication
skills Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
