Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel
nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga,
Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours
per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN
Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed
for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n
Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in a
30-bed medical surgical unit (2 West) /n• Patient ratio of 1:6 /n•
Every other weekend and holiday rotation required /n• No guaranteed
block scheduling /n• Float between 2 North and 2 West units /n•
Navy scrubs required - no fleece or sweatshirts permitted /n• BLS
certification required /n• Must have experience with IV starts, NGT
placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythms /n• Advanced cardiac
rhythm interpretation skills needed /n• Work with equipment
including wound vac, heparin drips, suction, IV pumps, glucometers,
bladder scanner, feeding pumps, and telemetry /n• Documentation
using Editech system /n• Perform lab draws and IV starts /n•
Support includes 2-3 techs per shift, clinical coordinator, charge
nurse, manager, and director /n• Maintain positive attitude and
provide excellent patient and family experience /n• Perform service
recovery as necessary and escalate issues through proper chain of
