Job Opportunity – Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: January 6, 2026 Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; equivalent of every other weekend (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule); 5-6:1 patient ratio Highlights: 30-bed cardiac telemetry unit specializing in progressive cardiac care Comprehensive support staff including unit clerks, PCTs, nursing supervisors, and hospitalists Advanced cardiac drip management including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone Meditech EMR system (HCA version) with Pyxis medication dispensing and Philips telemetry monitoring Procedures include chest tube management, wound vac therapy, and bedside EKGs Strong float support to similar acuity units only; strategic rotation model Requirements: Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact eligible) BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required Previous cardiac/telemetry experience strongly preferred Proficiency with cardiac drip protocols and telemetry rhythm interpretation Experience with documentation and monitoring per cardiac standards Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a team led by experienced charge nurses with 12 to 39 years of tenure who are committed to mentoring and clinical excellence.
