Pay Information $2,131 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current TN nursing license required Certifications: BLS, CST National certificate required Must-Have: Previous experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures. Critical thinking and customer service skills. Description: Must take call. Unit has 17 operating rooms. Surgery Board Runner is available on the unit. Type of equipment includes electrosurgical devices, Neptune suction, and patient positioning devices. Documentation system is Meditech. Scheduling requirements are 7 AM to 3 PM or 7 AM to 5 PM. Floating policy is not applicable. Familiarity with patient-experience requirements is necessary. Advanced skills are needed for procedures performed on the unit, including total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgical procedures, robotic procedures, general surgical procedures, urology, and cardiovascular procedures. New equipment includes a Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope for neurosurgical procedures, which is the only system in the area.
