Job Description GSD Search is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Athens, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN MedSurg (7P - 7A) Role: RN Specialty: Med Surg/Pediatrics Number of Openings: 1 Shift: 7pm-7am Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: rotating schedule Call Requirements: none Required Certifications: BLS, PALS Years of Experience: 2; Med Surg, postpartum, pediatrics in that order. Due to our low birthrate we must accept medical surgical patients on the floor. I need a nurse that has recent experience in those areas. Float Requirements: to other Med Surg units Additional Notes: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 14 Patient Ratios: 1/5-6 Equipment: • EHR: Med Host; Centricity Perinatal • Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: geriatric, peds, adult, post partum Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: IV placement; NG tube placement; fundal checks; Preferred Skillset/Experience: Med Surg Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Bowel obstruction; hip fracture; Cholelithiasis; Appendicitis; Post Partum care Personality Fit: Team Player Required Education: BLS; PALS; NRP appreciated; ACLS Dress Code: Scrub Color: any Any unacceptable attire: no camo; no logo shirts/sweatshirts other than Starr Regional GSD Search Job ID 908511.
