Job Description:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech
therapy rehab care based on physician referrals, adhering to legal
and professional standards. Requires a graduate degree in speech
therapy (MS or MA) and ASHA certification or eligibility for CFY.
Must hold an active state license and CPR certification, with
preferred one year of post-acute care experience. Responsibilities
include collaborating with patients and families, implementing
therapy plans, maintaining documentation, and participating in
community health projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with
strong communication, decision-making, and professionalism skills.
Essential functions involve goal setting, charting, utilizing
therapy software, and teamwork. Must demonstrate dependability,
good judgment, and adherence to confidentiality and company
policies.
