(Physician/MD qualifications required) Traumatic Surgery - The largest physician owned multi-specialty clinic in GA is seeking a board certified-board eligible Trauma-Acute Care Surgeon to join an established General Surgery Group.

Position Requirements:
BC-BE General Surgeon Critical Care Management Board Certification
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certification
Qualifications in Surgical Critical Care Preferred
Compliance with all ACS Mandated Trauma CME Requirements

Practice Setting:
Join the practice of 8 General Surgeons to provide dedicated trauma service to Level II Trauma Center
Practice solely as Acute Care Surgeon, without an elective practice.
Practice evidence-based urgent-emergent general surgery and trauma coverage.
Group provides exclusive on-call coverage of emergent, acute and follow-up care for hospital.
Week on-week off rotation with 12-hour shift. Weeks on, Surgeon will round on patients, see new consults, and take urgent and emergent cases to the OR. Weeks off, no phone calls, no clinic.
PA-NP (4) assistance with running the service as well as nurse liaison

The MSG provides a full complement of specialists including full Cardiac-Thoracic support, Pulm-Critical Care, Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Vascular Surgeons and more.
