Job Description:
The OR RN is responsible for aiding surgeons in the OR. OR
Nurses will prep the room and the patient for the procedure and
make certain that all equipment is safe and operating
correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR RN responsibilities include:
Analyzing the health of the patient before, during and after the
operation.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and hand instruments and
medical supplies to them during operations.
Gathering and tracking any items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered
Nurse within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
