Job Description:

Pulmonology opening in Dalton, Georgia. Hamilton Health Care System and the Hamilton Physician Group (HPG) are recruiting a Pulmonologist for a hospital-owned outpatient practice. Qualified candidates:

  • Pulmonary BC/BE
  • Preference to candidates BC/BE in sleep medicine.
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care Responsibilities:
    • Consulting on inpatient services: consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns
    • Outpatient practice: Mon.-Thurs. 8-5, Friday 8-12 Duties will include:
      • Referring to thoracic surgery and advising thoracic on risk status of patients
      • Using and interpreting tests to aid in diagnosis of conditions including CT scans, chest fluoroscopy, ultrasound and bronchoscopy.
