  • You will demonstrate clinical knowledge of medical/surgical/cardiac nursing and maintains the highest quality of patient care; including medications administered.
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess date reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
  • You will utilize nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
  • You will administer and document medications safely utilizing safe administration practices per policy.

    • Graduate of an Accredited Registered Nurse Program; BSN preferred.
    • State of Tennessee Registered Nurse license required or other compact state license.
    • BLS; must be current upon hire. -ACLS; must obtain within 90 days of hire. Department specific certifications preferred and suggested (Example: Med-Surg or CVC)
    • 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred (Cardiac preferred).
