  • Provide care for the patient as if they were your own family member
  • Demonstrate competency with technical skills according to established procedures
  • Provide care in accordance with the patient's plan of care (POC)
  • Process orders and notify patient's physician of needs and changes in condition
  • Complete clinical progress notes, documentation, and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Complete certification/recertification orders and discharge summaries
  • Maintain communication with Clinical Supervisors for necessary revisions to the POC
  • Report any patient incidents, variances, incomplete work assignments, or complaints immediately to Clinical Supervisors
  • Understand and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Provide counseling to patient and family/caregivers regarding care and related needs
  • Participate in in-service programs, supervising, and training other nursing personnel
  • Observe confidentiality, safeguarding all patient related information
  • Maintain professionalism, including a clean appearance, and punctuality
  • Demonstrate effective time management, judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Calmly respond to emergency situationsQualifications:
    • Active CPR certification (skills & cognitive)
    • Two or more years of experience is preferred.
    • Valid PPD
    • Valid LPN/RN Georgia or Compact license#INDCW
