  • You will demonstrate clinical knowledge of medical/surgical/cardiac nursing and maintains the highest quality of patient care; including medications administered.
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess date reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
  • You will utilize nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
  • You will administer and document medications safely utilizing safe administration practices per policy.
  • You will exhibit flexibility to meet the needs of the department, facility, and team as needed in response to unexpected changes in work volume, emergencies, staffing, and or scheduling changes.Parkridge Medical Center has served the community for nearly 40 years.     • Graduate of an Accredited Registered Nurse Program; BSN preferred.
    • State of Tennessee Registered Nurse license required or other compact state license.
    • American Heart Association BLS; must be current upon hire. American Heart ACLS; must obtain within 90 days of hire. Department specific certifications preferred and suggested (Example: Med-Surg or CVC)
    • 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred (Cardiac preferred).
