  • Properly prepares the patient for surgicalprocedure, knowing all specific requirements set aside by the manufacture
  • Supports physician-led time out protocols.
  • Responsible for correct patient positioning.
  • Provides updates to appropriate individualsidentified by the patient.
  • Monitors throughout procedure for prospersterile technique.
  • Oversees quality assurance activities, includingcounts, and communicating any concerns to the physician. The 128-bedParkridge East Hospital in East Ridge provides a full range of medical andsurgical services, such as orthopedics and robotic surgery. Our 24/7 EmergencyDepartment is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an AccreditedChest Pain Center. The Birth Place atParkridge East offers a comfortable, private setting in which families welcomenew additions. Our 22-bassinet level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)offers comprehensive care for babies born at less than 28 weeks gestation orwith critical illnesses.     Qualifications
    • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
    • Licensure: Current TN RN or CompactState License in state of residence
