Job Description:

Southern Exteriors Co. is launching from the proven success of Painter Ready and Builder Ready, nurturing the relationships we've established from 15 years of contracting experience to develop Chattanooga's go-to exterior business. The focus will begin in roofing, with siding, windows and doors quickly becoming a large part of revenue. We are seeking a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will nurture company-generated and self-generated leads by meeting with customers, completing exterior inspections, building quotes and providing exceptional follow-up customer service. The right candidate will be self-motivated, driven, outgoing and coachable. Our employees work together as a team and support each other as we guide and assist our customers with the very best service and care. Our compensation plan is a combination of a base salary plus uncapped bonuses. The base salary acts as a safety net and is there to alleviate the "need to book the job" which often is a mentality that will kill your sales rate. The uncapped bonuses are where you can make some really great money! Responsibilities:Manage all leads in your pipeline through Infusionsoft databaseEmail, call and meet with leads and existing clients to nurture relationships and develop businessPromptly follow up with leads and customers and notate progress in Infusionsoft databaseSchedule and execute onsite inspections and utilize tools and resources to create accurate quotesAttend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep up-to-date with the industryReport and provide feedback to management using financial and statistical data related to salesLeverage existing relationships and chase new leads in order to build and expand the commercial businessWork with team to establish and meet monthly baseline and stretch sales goals Skills/Requirements:1+ years in-home or outside sales experience preferredFamiliarity with different sales techniques and pipeline managementComputer use competencynegotiation and interpersonal skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills.Self motivated and drivenValid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to get on/off roofs comfortably. Carry, extend and climb ladders up to 32'Experience in the roofing or contracting industry is a plus but not required
