Assistant Director of McMinn County The Helen Ross McNabb Center (www.mcnabbcenter.org) is a premier not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services. The Center provides quality care and serves all ages in a continuum of prevention, early intervention, social, co-occurring, addiction, outpatient, and crisis services. The Center is seeking motivated staff members that possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation. Clinical staff members must be able to take and pass without major modification a course in Handle with Care, which requires hands-on, physical components to ensure the safety of the clients and staff. Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, the ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license, and transport clients. HRMC is an EOE. HRMC conducts Background Checks, Motor Vehicle Record Checks, Degree Verification, and Drug Screens at hire. Employment is contingent upon clean drug screen, background check, and driving record. HRMC is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic professional for the following position: Assistant Director of Clinical Services for Greater Chattanooga. *Job Requirements Education/Knowledge: Must have Master's degree in a Social Service related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in service delivery/supervision. Knowledge of database applications. Clinical knowledge necessary to provide clinical services and supervision of staff. Must be license eligible in the State of Tennessee. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the mental health and/or social science field. Skills: Ability to prioritize and organize work in order to achieve multiple goals. Ability to relate well with the public and other professionals. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records and reports. Ability to operate a computer and possess knowledge of database applications. Ability to plan and implement the delivery of treatment services. Treatment/service delivery experience/ensure productivity-revenue goals are achieved. *Job Summary The Assistant Director supervises clinical activities of mental health programming in McMinn and Hamilton Counties and is a member of the management team for Greater Chattanooga. The incumbent will serve as liaison with area school systems, United Way, Dept of Mental Health, and other agencies in Hamilton County. Act as liaison on behalf of HRMC with the Dept of Mental Health and other funding sources to coordinate delivery of services and ensure continue referrals, as well as with licensure and auditing monitors. Assists Team Leaders and Service Coordinators in monitoring and reviewing program files to meet contract and HRMC requirements. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains for supervised position vacancies. Assists with planning and implementation of programs as well as coordinate staffing and coverage of programming needs. Responsible for clinical supervision to service providers. Coordinates completion of productivity reports. Monitors and regulates clinical productivity of service providers with Team Leaders and Service Coordinators. Will be a credentialed staff member and assist with service delivery (ie, caseloads) as necessary. Monitors programs to ensure goals and objectives are met as outlined in contracts. Ensures CARF accreditation is retained by all accredited programs. Compiles QA/QI reports for services supervised. Coordinates scheduling. Provides direction to staff and utilizes progressive disciplinary procedures as necessary. Ensures financial goals are met and expenses actively managed to balance program budgets. Responsible for supervising additional future programs operating in the service area. Assists with new program development, including research and implementation.
