in every project. The Project: Manufacturing and Technology Senior
Project Manager Mace is seeking a full time senior project manager
to join our team in Tennessee. The Sr. PM will be reporting
directly to the Mace sr. operations director and will be a member
of Mace project delivery team and multi-disciplinary owner
representative project team members responsible to support our
client PMO lead to build a data center. The position involves
significant independent responsibility to oversee and provide
project management guidance, direction and supervision to the owner
rep members supporting the design management, construction
management, project controls, health and safety and quality
assurance and quality controls functions, as well as direct
supervisory responsibilities related to the professional and
practice related development of Mace project management staff. Our

You’ll Be Responsible For: You will promote Mace’s value of safety

technical expertise in health and safety rules and regulations
relevant to project portfolio. You will promote a diverse and

financial acumen. You will lead and manage scope development,
design phases, planning, procurement, delivering and startup phases
of projects or programs within large, diverse teams and experience
developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders
within industrial manufacturing clients. You will promote carbon
and sustainability considerations to shape the outlook of the
projects you are working on. You will ensure robust risk management
and quality systems are in place, and suitable managed in line with
service excellence. You will review risk register linked to all
project uncertainties. You will support on defining the
construction contractual requirement pertaining to scope execution,
reporting, health/safety/environment, quality, cost and schedule.
You will coordinate and oversee of long lead equipment procurement
and supply chain process. You will establish and participate on
value engineering and constructability review sessions. You will
coordinate permitting plan updates and track progress. You will
manage delivery from project inception, through design development
and planning, contract procurement and construction phase in
accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project
milestones. You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in
support of the associate director and other senior leaders,
alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely
and accurate delivery of the project or programs. You will manage
project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges, and
mitigations. You will support the long-term development of your
function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business
future. You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a
collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of
responsibilities. You will lead and manage the project team and
relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance
indicators (KPIs). You will participate and provide inputs to
trades/subs bidding and selection process. You will lead weekly
owner/architect/contractor (OAC) meetings. You will Immediately
escalate issues that may have an impact on the completion date to
Client. You will oversee of general contractor and other directly
contracted vendors at site. You will drive governance over change
management process - track changes, review and negotiate, provide
recommendations for approval. You will manage and validate punch
list items, substantial completion, and final completion process.
You will collect and track receipt of all closeout documents until
completion, including certificates of occupancy, warranty and
guarantees, bonds, release of liens, as-builts, maintenance and
user manuals. You will assist with city and/or other authority
final inspections and occupancy process. You will facilitate
negotiation, resolution and close out any outstanding change
orders, quality issues or disputes You will process and track any
final invoices, payment applications, retention payments. You will
actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best
practice, utilizing the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the
Centers of Excellence, Mace way control center and knowledge hub.
You’ll Need To Have\: Construction or engineering bachelor's degree
(M.S. or MBA preferred). Minimum of (15) years of demonstrated
capital project management experience in industrial manufacturing
and advance technology sectors. Experience managing an integrated
team on large complex and multi-phase capital process consisting of
multiple project elements. Knowledge of multiple project delivery
methods. Proven track record of leading programs of $1 billion or
greater. Demonstrated experience providing leadership of a team in
an integrated project delivery organization. Proven track record of
following through on commitments. Demonstrated experience in
delivering major capital programs successfully (on budget, time,
meeting safety and quality standards within approved scope). Proven
track record of partnering and issues resolution. Demonstrated
excellent communications, presentation and written skills. Project
manager with experience on data center development and
construction. This role will be initially remote while operations
on the client's site and finalized. Mace is an inclusive employer
