Job Description About Us: Pro•Team Foodservice Advisors is a
dynamic consulting firm dedicated to enhancing foodservice
operations for school district clients across the United States. We
specialize in crafting tailored solutions that align with our
clients' goals, leveraging our deep industry expertise to deliver
comprehensive and effective strategies. Our company is looking for
a highly driven consultant to join our growing team of child
nutrition professionals. This is a remote opportunity with the
potential for an estimated 25% travel. Job Summary: As a
consultant, you will work closely with school district clients to
provide customized support, guidance, and mentorship on all areas
of the USDA school nutrition programs and other child nutrition
programs. The consultant must be comfortable serving in an advisory
role to school nutrition clients to support them in developing
program goals, identifying areas for improvement, and
problem-solving. Providing support with knowledge and experience
gained from involvement with successful child nutrition programs.
Strong communication skills are essential, as is a friendly,
open-minded demeanor that represents our brand. This individual
must be flexible, organized, adaptable, and willing to take
initiative to support clients in a way that addresses their unique
needs. Client support is provided through virtual meetings, phone
calls, email, and in-person site visits to school districts. Job
Responsibilities: ? Provide ongoing consulting support to school
district clients on topics such as financial planning and scenario
mapping, organizational structure, operational efficiencies, menu
ideation, administrative review challenges, marketing, staff/team
challenges, etc. ? Assist clients with special projects that align
with their district-wide goals. ? Organize and conduct Fresh Eyes
reviews to provide districts with strategic next steps to build on
strengths of the current program and identify opportunities for
program improvement. ? Establish relationships with potential
clients to market Pro•Team services. ? Present at local, state
and/or national meetings, conferences, events, and webinars. ?
Other related duties as mutually agreed upon. Qualifications and
Attributes: ? Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food service
management, business administration, or other related field.
Master’s degree preferred. ? Minimum of ten (10) years professional
experience working in a K12 school foodservice environment. ?
Experience working as a school nutrition director or with a state
agency strongly preferred. ? Excellent critical thinking, decision
making, problem-solving, and leadership skills. ? Experience
presenting educational content and providing training to a variety
of audiences (i.e., school board, principals, foodservice staff). ?
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and
also work collaboratively with others. ? Strong written and verbal
communication skills. ? Proficiency with MS Office suite and Google
Workspace. Working Hours and Compensation: 1. Estimated 15-20 hours
per week depending on customer demand, availability and need. 2.
Starting salary: $40-$50 per hour based on education, experience
and proven successes. 3. Wages are paid biweekly. 4. Company cell
phone and laptop to be provided. 5. Travel expenses to be covered
when incurred. 6. Combined time off (CTO) earned based on average
