Full-time onsite PositionCatering DirectorJob Description: Our Award Winning Client is seeking a dynamic Catering Director to oversee all aspects of our catering operation. This role involves managing teams, coordinating events, and ensuring financial goals are met. Our client, with a national presence, has been recognized for excellence in the industry.Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all catering operations, including event booking, menu development, and pricing strategies
Manage team members, ensuring adherence to standards and targets
Develop tailored catering solutions to meet client needs and preferences
Cultivate strong relationships with clients and customers to drive satisfaction and loyalty
Devise and implement marketing plans to drive catering sales and growth
Stay informed about current catering trends and products, advising stakeholders accordingly
Oversee banquet event orders and ensure seamless food delivery process
Train and mentor catering staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
Set and achieve sales, food, and labor targets
Manage accounting functions related to catering revenue, expenses, and receivables
Ensure compliance with food safety and occupational health regulationsQualifications:
Minimum 4 years of catering experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
Previous experience in event planning and catering is essential
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Valid Food Handlers and Alcohol Service CertificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent experience in the food service industry will be considered.Candidate Must Have:
4+ years of catering and events experience
3+ years of management experience
Strong communication skills
