*Confidential application process*One of our top clients, a long term care facility, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in the management of the nursing department. The Assistant Director of Nursing will maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the delivery of quality resident care.Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in the management of the nursing department, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards for long term care
• Coordinate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to provide high-quality resident care
• Develop and manage budgets for the nursing department and ensure financial performance goals are met
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the long term care facility
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality at all times
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments within the long term care facility
• Respond to emergency situations and provide leadership and direction to nursing staff as neededQualifications:
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in long term care, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and quality standards for long term care
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
