Job Description:

The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager. The Assistant GM will help direct and administer all aspects of the operation and coordinates/administers the property's policies and procedures as defined by the property's ownership and/or Troon.

QualificationsandKnowledgeRequirements:

• 1-3yearsexperienceinthegolfand/or food & beverage industry
• Four-yearcollegedegreepreferred
• Musthavesupervisoryandstaffdevelopmentexperience
• MustbeproficientinExcel,Access,Word,POSsystems
• Workingknowledgeofclubaccounting
• Musthaveastrongbusinessaptitude
• Experience with marketing Skills:
  • Musthaveexceptionalcustomerserviceskills
  • Mustbehighlymotivated,goaldriven,anda self-starter
  • Mustbeextremelyorganized,efficient,anddetail-oriented

    • Managesallaspectsoftheclubintheabsenceofthegeneralmanager
    • Assistsinhiring,developingandsupervisingallkeymanagementemployeesoftheproperty
    • Producedailyreportsrelatedtorounds,sales,etc.formanagement
    • Assistincoordinatingofbanquets and weddings OR golf outings
    • Providescustomerservicetoarrivingguests
    • Assistsinreconciliationofcashandaccountsreceivablechargestodailyregisterattheclosingoftheday
    • Assistsinoverseeingthecareandmaintenanceoftheproperty'sphysicalassetsandfacilities
    • ProvidesassistanceinmanagementofPro-Shop OR Food & Beverage operation
    • Assistwithsourcing,hiring,developing,trainingandmotivatingastaffofprofessionalservice-orientatedindividualsat thediscretionoftheGeneralManager
    • Institute and implement all Troon Human Resources guidelines
    • Coordination between all departments
    • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues
    • Performotherdutiesasassigned by supervisor or manager WorkingConditions:
